As luck would have it in my first few days here I found the designers Marina e Susanna Sent at the Arsenale museum shop. Nick would be very proud because I've restrained myself from buying any of their work as yet - I figure I have only just arrived so need to look around before committing myself. Plus they have a store on Murano so I am going to check that out first. (That and they are quite expensive)
In the meantime however, I have bought a fantastic psychedelic ring made from some kind of rubbery plastic that looks like paint! They aren't great photos, but to give you an idea I just took some shots...
Anyway the search continues for more jewellery and unique items to bring home and add to my collection.
Hi Simone, love your blog. Looking at your photos and stories I am very excited about my trip to Italy. You'll have to tell me what the "must do's" are in Venice. Love the ring. Would you have looked at rings in Australia if you had known such a beautiful plastic ring was available....talk soon. Sue
